Who Can Use BMX?

Eligible Users

  • • Users 18 years of age or older
  • • Residents of most countries worldwide
  • • Users who accept our Terms of Service
  • • Users with valid email addresses

Restricted Jurisdictions

  • • China (PRC) - All services prohibited
  • • OFAC-sanctioned countries
  • • Jurisdictions where crypto is illegal
  • • Users under 18 years of age

KYC/AML Policy

BMX currently operates with limited KYC requirements. We collect:

  • • Email address (required)
  • • Name (required)
  • • Account type (Artist/Investor)

Enhanced verification may be required for:

  • • Large transactions (>$10,000 equivalent)
  • • Suspicious activity flagged by our systems
  • • Artist token issuance requests
  • • Withdrawal requests above certain thresholds

Securities Law Disclaimer

Artist tokens are NOT securities. They are digital collectibles that do not represent:

  • • Investment contracts
  • • Shares or equity in any entity
  • • Rights to dividends, profits, or revenue
  • • Voting or governance rights

BMX tokens have not been registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), FINRA, or any other securities regulatory authority.

If you believe artist tokens may be considered securities in your jurisdiction, you should NOT use BMX.

Tax Information

You are solely responsible for determining what taxes, if any, apply to your transactions on BMX. This may include:

  • • Capital gains taxes on token sales
  • • Income taxes on any benefits received
  • • Reporting requirements for cryptocurrency holdings

Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

BMX is committed to preventing the use of our platform for money laundering or terrorist financing. We:

  • • Monitor transactions for suspicious activity
  • • Reserve the right to freeze accounts pending investigation
  • • Report suspicious activity to relevant authorities
  • • Cooperate with law enforcement requests
